The Invisible String Theory suggests that individuals are connected to others, especially romantic partners, through an intangible, metaphorical "string" that transcends physical distance and time. This theory, rooted in beliefs about fate and destiny, implies that certain relationships are destined to occur, even if there are significant delays or hurdles.
Mason and Rachel were born on the same date and in the same hospital, just one year apart. They were then raised in Frisco, TX- a small town turned big suburb with 12 high schools and over 200,000 residents. When Rachel was a freshman and Mason was a sophomore, they both attended Heritage High School and even had some of the same friends. While there were many possibilities for their paths to cross, it didn't happen until college.
At the end of the 2018 spring semester, Rachel visited her friend for a weekend at the University of Arkansas. It was THAT weekend that Rachel and Mason finally met, he asked her on a date, and thus their love story began.
Their relationship has been filled with 8 hour road trips to visit one another at their respective schools (University of Arkansas and Texas A&M University), adopting their sweet fur baby (Rosie), a pandemic, their first apartment, law school, their second apartment, chiropractic school, graduations, world travels to Cabo, Amsterdam, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and London, and even through all that... Still. No. Ring.
All jokes aside, they could not have gotten through it all without the unwavering love and support from one another. In February 2025, they bought their first home together, and finally, seven years later, on April 5, 2025, Mason asked Rachel to marry him in their brand new backyard surrounded and supported by their family and friends.
